people all appear before God,

the One, the Overpowering-

faces covered in fire.

51. [All will be judged] so

that God may reward

each soul as it deserves:

God is swift in His reckoning.

21. he is obeyed there

22. Your companion

The Messenger of Allah,

The Prophet said, “Say: Allah is enough for us

We trust in Allah, our Lord.”

13. At last, when

the Trumpet

will be blown

with one blast,

14. and the earth

and mountains

will ascend

and pulverized

with one blow,

15. on that Day

the Inevitable Event

will have come to pass.

16. The heavens will then

be so torn that it will be frail,

17. with the angels on its sides.

On that Day eight mighty angels

18. You will then be

The Quran

Surah An-Naba

The Announcement

17. Indeed,
the Day of Judgement

is the appointed time –

18. The Day the Horn

is blown and you will

come forth in multitudes

19. And the heaven

is opened and will
become gateways

20. And the mountains

are removed and

will be [but] a mirage.

21. Indeed, Hell has been

lying in wait

22. For the transgressors,

a place of return,

23. In which they will

remain for ages [unending].

24. They will not taste therein

[any] coolness or drink

25. Except scalding water

and [foul] discharge –

26. An appropriate recompense.

27. Indeed, they were not

expecting an account

28. And denied Our verses

with [forceful] denial.

29. But all things We have
accounted in writing.

30. “So taste [the penalty],

and never will We increase you

except only in torment.”

The Quran
Surah Ta Ha

In The Name Of Allah
The Entirely Merciful
The Especially Merciful

98. Your god is only Allah,
there is no deity except for Him.
His Knowledge encompasses
every single thing.”

99. Thus, [O Muhammad],
We relate to you from
the news of what
has come before.
And We have certainly
given you from Us the Qur’an.

100. Whoever
turns away from it –
then indeed,
he will bear on the Day
of Resurrection a burden,

101. [Abiding] eternally therein,
and evil it is for them on the
Day of Resurrection as a load,

102. The Day the Horn
will be blown.
And We will gather
the criminals, that Day,
all of them pathetic.

103. They will murmur
among themselves,
“You remained not but ten
[days in the world].”

104. We are most knowing
of what they say,
when the best of them
in manner will say,
“You remained
not but one day.”

105. And they ask you about
the mountains, so say,
“My Lord will blow
them away with a blast.

106. And He will leave
the earth a level plain;

107. You will not see therein
a depression or an elevation.”

108. That Day,
everyone will follow
the call of The Caller,
with no escape,
and all voices will
be suspended before
‘The Most Merciful’,
so you will not hear
except a whisper.

109. That Day,
no intercession will
benefit except one to whom
The Most Merciful
has given permission,
and has accepted
his truthful word.

110. Allah knows what is
presently before them,
and all of what
will be after them,
but they do not encompass
His knowledge.

111. And all faces
will be humbled before
The Eternally-Living,
The Sustainer of all existence.
And they will have failed
who carries injustice.

112. But he who does
of righteous deeds
while he is a believer,
he will neither fear
injustice nor deprivation.

113. And thus We have
sent it down
as an Arabic Qur’an,
and have diversified
within it, warnings,
so that perhaps
they will avoid sin,
or it would cause
them mindfulness.

The Quran
Surah Al-Baqarah
The Cow

In The Name Of Allah
The Entirely Merciful
The Especially Merciful

1. Alif, Lam, Meem.

2. This is the Book about
which there is no doubt,
a guidance for those
conscious of Allah –

3. Who believe in the unseen,
establish prayer, and spend out
of what We have provided for them,

4. And who believe in what
has been revealed to you,
[O Muhammad], and
what was revealed
before you,
and of the Hereafter
they are certain [in faith].

5. Those are upon [right]
guidance from their Lord,
and it is those who
are the successful.

6. Indeed, those who disbelieve –
it is all the same for them
whether you warn them
or do not warn them –
they will not believe.

7. Allah has set a seal
upon their hearts
and upon their hearing,
and over their vision is a veil.
And for them is a great punishment.

8. And of the people are some who say,
“We believe in Allah and the Last Day,”
but they are not believers.

9. They [think to] deceive Allah
and those who believe,
but they deceive not except
themselves and perceive [it] not.

10. In their hearts is disease,
so Allah has increased their disease;
and for them is a painful punishment
because they [habitually] used to lie.

11. And when it is said to them,
“Do not cause corruption
on the earth,”
they say, “We are
but reformers.”

12. Unquestionably, it is
they who are the corrupters,
but they perceive [it] not.

13. And when it is said to them,
“Believe as the people
have believed,”
they say, “Should we believe
as the foolish have believed?”
Unquestionably, it is
they who are the foolish,
but they know [it] not.

14. And when they
meet those
who believe,
they say, “We believe”;
but when they are alone
with their evil ones, they say,
“Indeed, we are with you;
we were only mockers.”

15. [But] Allah mocks them
and prolongs them in
their transgression [while]
they wander blindly.

16. Those are the ones who
have purchased error
[in exchange] for guidance,
so their transaction
has brought no profit,
nor were they guided.

17. Their example is that of
one who kindled a fire,
but when it illuminated
what was around him,
Allah took away their light
and left them in darkness
[so] they could not see.

18. Deaf, dumb and blind –
so they will not return
[to the right path].

19. Or [it is] like a rainstorm
from the sky within which
is darkness, thunder and lightning.
They put their fingers in their ears
against the thunderclaps
in dread of death. But
Allah is encompassing
of the disbelievers.

20. The lightning almost
snatches away their sight.
Every time it lights
[the way] for them,
they walk therein;
but when darkness comes
over them, they stand [still].
And if Allah had willed,
He could have taken away
their hearing and their sight.
Indeed, Allah is over
all things competent.

21. O mankind,
worship your Lord,
who created you and those
before you, that you may
become righteous –

22. [He] who made for you the earth,
a bed [spread out] and the sky, a
ceiling and sent down from the sky,
rain and brought forth thereby
fruits as provision for you. So
do not attribute to Allah equals,
while you know
[that there is nothing
similar to Him].

23. And if you are in doubt
about what We have sent down
upon Our Servant [Muhammad],
then produce a surah the like thereof
and call upon your witnesses
other than Allah, if you
should be truthful.

24. But if you do not –
and you will never be able to –
then fear the Fire,
whose fuel is men and stones,
prepared for the disbelievers.

25. And give good tidings
to those who believe
and do righteous deeds
that they will have gardens
[in Paradise]
beneath which rivers flow.
Whenever they are provided with
a provision of fruit therefrom,
they will say,
“This is what we were
provided with before.”
And it is given to them in likeness.
And they will have therein
purified spouses,
and they will abide
therein eternally.

34. But when there comes
the greatest Overwhelming Calamity,

35. The Day when man will remember
all that for which he worked for,

36. And Hellfire will be exposed
for [all] those who can see.

37. So, as for he
who has transgressed

38. And preferred
the life of this world,

39. Then indeed,
Hellfire will be [his] refuge.

40. But as for he who feared
the position of his Lord

and prevented the soul
from [unlawful] inclinations,

41. Then indeed,
Paradise will be [his] refuge.

42. They ask you, [O Muhammad],
about the Hour: when is its arrival?

43. In what [position] are you in
that you should mention it?

44. To your Lord is its finality.

45. You are only a warner
for those who fear it.

46. It will be, on the Day they see it,
as though they remained [in the world]
only for an afternoon or a morning.

The Quran
Surah Al-Hajj
The Pilgrimage

1. People,
be mindful
of your Lord, for
the earthquake of
the Last Hour will
be a mighty thing:

2. on the Day you see it,
every nursing mother will
think no more of her baby,
every pregnant female will
miscarry, you will think people
are drunk when they are not,
so severe will be God’s torment.

3. Yet still there are some who,
with no knowledge, argue
about God, who follow
every devilish rebel

4. fated to lead astray those
who take his side, and guide
them to the suffering
of the blazing flame.

5. People, [remember,] if you
doubt the Resurrection, that
We created you from dust,
then a drop of fluid, then a
clinging form, then a lump of
flesh, both shaped and unshaped:
We mean to make Our power
clear to you. Whatever We choose
We cause to remain in the womb
for an appointed time, then We
bring you forth as infants and
then you grow and reach maturity.
Some die young and some are left
to live on to such an age that they
forget all they once knew. You
sometimes see the earth lifeless,
yet when We send down water
it stirs and swells and produces
every kind of joyous growth:

6. this is because God is the Truth;
He brings the dead back to life;
He has power over everything.

7. There is no doubt that the
Last Hour is bound to come,
nor that God will raise the
dead from their graves,

8. yet still there are some who,
with no knowledge or guidance
or any book of enlightenment,
argue about God,

9. turning scornfully aside to
lead others away from God’s path.
Disgrace in this world awaits such a
person and, on the Day
of Resurrection, We
shall make him taste
the suffering of the Fire.

10. [It will be said], ‘This is
for what you have stored up
with your own hands:
God is never unjust
to His creatures.’

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will be
gathered (on the Day of Judgment),
bare-footed, naked and
not circumcised."
He then recited from the Quran :
'As We began the first creation,
We, shall repeat it: A Promise
We have undertaken:
Truly we shall do it.' (Quran, 21:104)
He added, "The first to be dressed on
the Day of Resurrection, will be Abraham,
and some of my companions will be taken
towards the left side (i.e. to the Hell Fire), and
I will say: 'My companions! My companions!'
It will be said: 'They renegade from Islam
after you left them.' Then I will say as
the Pious slave of Allah (i.e. Jesus) said.
'And I was a witness Over them while I
dwelt amongst them. When You took me
up You were the Watcher over them,
And You are a witness to all things.
If You punish them.
They are Your slaves
And if You forgive them,
Verily you, only You
are the All-Mighty,
the All-Wise."
(Quran, 5:117-118)

Sahih al-Bukhari 3349
Book 60, Hadith 24

Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah,
peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“The people will be assembled barefoot,
naked, and uncircumcised.”
I said, “O Messenger of Allah,
will the men and women
look at each other?”
The Prophet said,
“The matter
will be too serious
for them to notice.”

In another narration, the Prophet
recited the verse, “As We began creation,
so shall We repeat it, a promise
binding upon Us.
Surely, We will do it.”

30. on that day he will be driven
towards your Lord.

31. He neither believed
nor prayed,

32. but denied the truth
and turned away,

33. walking back to his people
with a conceited swagger.

34. Closer and closer
it comes to you.

35. Closer
and closer still.

The Quran
Surah Al-Anbiya
The Prophets

44. We have allowed these sinners
and their forefathers to enjoy life for
a long time. But do they not see how
We are shrinking their borders?
Is it they who will prevail?

45. Say, ‘I warn you only through the Revelation.’
The deaf will not hear the warning call,

46. yet if a mere breath of your Lord’s punishment
touches them, they will be sure to cry,
‘Woe to us! We were wrong!’

47. We will set up scales of justice for
the Day of Resurrection so that no one can be
wronged in the least, and if there should be even
the weight of a mustard seed, We shall bring it out-
We take excellent account.

The Quran

Surah Al-Qiyamah

The Resurrection

1. By the Day of Resurrection

2. and by the self-reproaching soul!

3. Does man think we shall not
put his bones back together.

4. In fact, We have the power
to restore his very finger tips.

5. But man desires to
continue in his evil courses.

6. He keeps asking: When will

the Day of Judgment be?

7. When the eye is dazzled,

8. and the moon is eclipsed,

9. and the sun and the moon

exhibit the same phenomenon,

10. on that day man will say:

Where is the escape?

11. None at all!
There is nowhere

to take refuge.

12. On that day,

before your Lord

all will end up.

13. Man will be informed

that day of that which he

had committed and of that

which he had neglected.

14. In fact, people will testify
against their own souls,

15. even while they are
stammering with excuses.

The Quran
Surah Maryam
Mary (PBUH)

66. Man says,
‘What? Once I am dead,
will I be brought
back to life?’

67. but does man

not remember that

We created him when

he was nothing before?

68. By your Lord [Prophet]

We shall gather them and the

( jinn ) devils together and set them

on their knees around Hell;

69. We shall seize out of

each group those who

were most disobedient

towards the

Lord of Mercy-

70. We know best

who most deserves

to burn in Hell-

71. but every single one

of you will approach it,

a decree from your Lord

which must be fulfilled.

72. We shall save the devout

and leave the evildoers there

on their knees.
